Vendor Requirements

• Wineries and Vineyards with excellent products
• Already shipping or planning to ship wine directly to customers
• Have proper licenses and meet legal shipping requirements

How It Works

When you become a Virginia's Best Catalog Group wine vendor, we create an account for you and add your wine to our catalogs. When customers place orders for your products, we will process those orders and then forward them to you as a purchase order. The wine vendor then ships the items to our customers, and confirms the shipment by sending us the tracking number and actual shipping costs. Montly payments are mailed to you for all the wine shipped during the previous month, as well as for your confirmed shipping charges.

Rates and Fees

We charge a fixed commission rate of 30% of the retail price of all products sold via our sales channels. The rate will be reduced to 25% for vendors that place a link to our websites on their own website main page. No fees whatsoever are charged for our services at this time.

Shipping

The more states you can ship to, the more orders you will receive from us. The importance of maximizing the number of states to which you ship cannot be overemphasized. The Virginia's Best Catalog Group is based in Virginia, but the majority of our sales are shipped outside Virginia. Customers will be best served and encouraged to make repeat purchases if they are not denied access to your products unnecessarily.

If you are already shipping wine orders, then no changes to your normal operations are necessary. Simply process the order as you would any other. If you are not shipping yet, we can help you to enter the wine shipping world.

Protecting Our Youth

Virginia's Best Catalog Group was the first Virginia retailer and one of only a very few in the nation to implement the IDology age-checking system. This system helps us to screen out underage buyers and even identifies problem delivery addresses. Your orders are prequalified using this system as well as other credit card related security systems.
